UK BUYER & OPERATOR GUIDE

Choosing the right smart vending cooler

Choose a cooler around the products you intend to sell, the people who will use it and the way you will replenish it—not simply the largest cabinet you can fit.

Start with the product range

A workplace buying its first cooler and a vending operator adding a new location face the same first question: what will customers actually want to buy? List the proposed drinks, snacks and food, including their packaging and storage needs. Separate everyday lines from occasional or seasonal items.

Use the established model comparison below as a shortlist, not a guarantee that every pack will fit or be suitable. The AI Vending Freezer 550 is described as flexi-temp, operating chilled or frozen; do not assume it provides separate chilled and frozen zones at the same time. Ask for the intended configuration to be confirmed.

Bottle-equivalent figures are retained from the current range. Usable capacity depends on pack size, product mix and shelf layout; confirm your proposed configuration in the quotation.

Read capacity in context

The current figures are AI Vending Mini 360: 252 bottles, AI Vending Pro 542: 378 bottles, AI Vending Freezer 550: 384 bottles and AI Vending Ultra 1200: 756 bottles. These are bottle-equivalent reference capacities, not a promise of the same count of sandwiches, desserts or mixed packs. Pack size and shelf layout affect usable capacity.

Estimate how many customers may buy during busy periods and how often someone can visit to replenish. A larger cabinet may hold more stock, but stocking it with slow-moving fresh food can create unnecessary waste. A smaller cabinet can be practical when regular replenishment is feasible. Neither capacity nor footfall alone establishes profitability.

  • List likely fast-selling products and their pack sizes.
  • Identify peaks such as shift changes, lunch breaks or guest arrivals.
  • Agree who replenishes, and whether they can reach the site when needed.

Shortlist by demand and operating needs

AI Vending Mini 360 is positioned for low–medium footfall and compact convenience. AI Vending Pro 542 is positioned for medium–high footfall and busy workplaces or leisure sites. AI Vending Ultra 1200 is the high-volume, double-door option. AI Vending Freezer 550 is relevant when the required range calls for chilled or frozen operation. These are starting points for a discussion, not rigid site-size rules.

Compare your shortlisted models against the actual route into the building and final placement. Request dimensions, weight, door swing, power requirements and ventilation clearances for the quoted model before committing. A cabinet that suits demand still needs to be deliverable and correctly positioned.

Make the recommendation specific to your site

AI Vending Mini 360, AI Vending Pro 542, AI Vending Freezer 550 and AI Vending Ultra 1200 each come with a 12-month warranty. Detailed coverage and conditions are confirmed with your quotation.

Send the supplier your proposed product list, customer profile, opening or access hours, replenishment plan and photos or measurements of the delivery route. Ask which packs need compatibility confirmation and what product setup is included. If you operate multiple locations, describe each site rather than treating one model as suitable everywhere.

Request a written purchase quotation or discuss finance subject to approval. Have delivery, setup, training, payment arrangements and aftercare identified separately so you can compare like with like. Smart Vending Coolers UK supplies equipment for UK businesses and operators; a locally managed refreshment service is a separate discussion with Premier Vending, not an automatic inclusion with equipment supply.
