FACTORIES & WAREHOUSES

Fresh food vending that covers every shift

Industrial sites are where unattended retail earns its place. Nights, weekends and split breaks are hard to cater for with a manned facility, and a chilled smart cooler simply keeps working when nobody is there to serve.

A smart vending cooler serves factory and warehouse shifts unattended: the door unlocks against a valid card or mobile wallet, the worker takes chilled food or drinks, and payment is taken automatically — so night and weekend shifts get the same range as days.

WHY INDUSTRIAL SITES CHOOSE IT

Built for shift patterns, not office hours

24/7 unattended service

Access is controlled by the payment method, so the cooler serves 2am shifts as reliably as midday ones.

Proper meals, not vending snacks

Chilled ready meals, sandwiches and pots survive because the customer lifts them off a shelf by hand.

High capacity between visits

Larger cabinets hold enough range that restocking rounds fit your logistics rather than dictating them.

No cash handling

Fully cashless operation removes floats, collections and the security risk that comes with them.

Fewer trips off site

When decent food is available on site, breaks stay inside the gate and shifts start back on time.

Usage you can see

Remote sales and stock visibility shows which shifts buy what, so the range can be adjusted sensibly.

TYPICAL RANGE

What works on an industrial site

  • Chilled ready meals and hearty sandwiches
  • Pasties, pies and substantial snack boxes
  • Water, soft drinks and energy drinks
  • Chilled coffee and milk drinks
  • Fruit pots and yoghurts
  • Frozen options where a Freezer 550 is installed
PRACTICALITIES

Siting a cooler in a working building

Choose a position that is easy to reach from the floor but out of the traffic route for FLTs and pallet movements. Break rooms, corridors between production areas and canteen spaces all work well; the cabinet needs clear door swing, a standard power supply and a level floor.

Avoid siting it against a heat source or in a dust-heavy area without ventilation clearance, and confirm the delivery route through doorways and thresholds before ordering a larger double-door machine.

For most sites the Pro 542 covers a single shift group comfortably. Larger distribution centres, or sites where a shift change floods the break room at once, are better served by the Ultra 1200.
